Spain is dealing with illegal immigration from west Africa. Now instead of throwing open the doors or causing a mass rush by saying everyone who is here by next Tuesday is granted amnesty, Spainish businesses have begun recruiting directly, within Senegal, and securing visas and transportation for new hires. These efforts, combined with a stepped up effort in patrolling the seas to catch illegals have resulted in a 2/3 drop in illegal immigration.

Isn't it amazing what happens when laws already on the books are enforced and the free market is allowed to function?
